Thank you for selling on Amazon.com. Your success is important to us, and we are working continuously to identify opportunities to improve your selling experience and our customers' buying experience. Our research shows that listings with high resolution, pure white background main images improve the customer experience. Based on that research, we have decided to hide (suppress) listings that do not meet certain standards.
Beginning today, in the U.S. Clothing & Accessories category, we will hide from search and browse:
--Child listings (excluding Accessories) created on or after October 21, 2013 with main images that are not on a pure white background (background RGB score equal to 255)
These listings will continue to be visible in your seller account and accessible via the Fix Suppressed Listings view in Manage Inventory, so you can easily identify and upload the appropriate images.
To unhide your listings, please upload complete and valid product information for each product, including:
--A main image on a pure white background (background RGB score equal to 255)
For information on the listing requirements for Accessories products, please see the Clothing, Accessories & Luggage style guide on the Inventory File Templates page. If you use inventory templates to manage your listings, you can identify the appropriate Item Type Keyword using the Product Classifier on the Add Products via Upload page.
